QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 22 2007, 08:24 PM) Hey guys, I have a noob enquiry here. Anyone of you here have upgrade Dell's desktop RAM before? check use the cpu-z ..download it...if is ddr2 ram...then buy 1gbx2 ddr2 667 ...It is because my sister just bought a new set from Dell but she needs to upgrade the RAM because it is too slow to be accepted, 512MB only. I am aware that the price for DDR2 is very cheap now, so it means all the available DDR2 RAM in the market now is compatibility to Dell's? However, I heard that Dell's desktops are kinda sensitive for RAM issue, is that true? Most probably I'll be getting for her from LYN since it is so cheap here. Sorry if this enquiry doesn't suit here because I do not know where to post. Please don't flame me because of my noob-ness. |
