Never tried haval. But yeah the picanto is quite underpowered if u like to genting. However on highway i tried can easily reach 180km/h. Refinement level is similar to conti cars

for travel i sometimes went to east coast on a lesser frequency, maybe once per month

but to be more frequent to be driving around kl/sel esp. on weekends

not going to use for daily work travel as im still sticking to mrt due to reachability and how cheap it is nowadays (on rm100 per month for unlimited usage)

but yeah i do have long-term concern on picanto, which is why ayam viewing it as a more 2ndary car...having a japanese sedan suits my need better in most situations

Because I've used proton saga flx 2011 and during that time they claimed it was fuel efficient. Manatau still guzzling fuel like heck. Have a few friens who owned proton before and all of them say proton is just fuel hungry. Average 10km/l like that
The new myvi I've seen people topped 20+km/l before

Let’s say MyVi average at 15km/L while Iriz average at 12km/L.

Take the different of 3km/L or in terms of % is 25% extra FC.

Assume a guy travel 30k KM per year.

The myvi is expected to spent 2k Litres of petrol, while Iriz is expected to spent 2.5k Litres of petrol. The differences here are 500L of petrol, which at the moment petrol price will cost us RM1k++.

That’s a saving of 1k per year of service.

In our market, if the car is fuel efficient, it will be EEV certified. Iriz is not. If i remember non of the protons with campro engine are EEV certified. Their only EEV certified models are just x70 and ertiga if im not mistaken.

I will go with iriz anytime. Rv is useless for me. I don't sell car after 5 years or 6 years. I will use it up to 8,9 years.
