Hi.

Its a 200hp fun car, so my driving behavior might be alil aggressive. currently using michelin ps3 18/45/225.

So im looking for a similar performance donuts where price below rm400 per pcs.

I search online, looks like hankook v12 evo2 is ok.

Ps4 is replacing ps3, so ps3 also no more alresdy. Ps4 is too expensive for me.

Any recommendation from sifu here?

editted: sorry my tyre size is 18/45/225.

This size is a bit rare so not many choices available and prices are high. The V12e2 does not have it. Your best choice other than PS4 should be Falken Azenis FK510 but it's still rm500+. You won't be able to get similar level tires with your rm400 budget, that's only enough for low end non performance models.

PS31 is not good. At Tirerack review, it's mentioned that it's not really true high performance tire.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDi...ay.jsp?ttid=217

Even the newer replacement of it, the PS71, is still also not good. See the latest test indicating despite it being one of the cheapest, it us still very poor value for money because of poor performance and very high wear rate.

Didot know v12 doesn’t come in 235/45/18. However, I do know it comes in 245/45/18 which is still within the allowable limit for your vehicle. Can go check it out.

Another Tyre model that you can consider is falken fk510

As long as the rims width is minimum 8jj otherwise cannot use 245 wide tire.

It is not all bout the HP but also the norminal driving speed, road condition, car weight, driving style and etc. If your car is not heavier than 1400kg, generally V12 Evo is ok for you.

Ah in that case you got more choices and the V12E2 is available as the best value for money at only rm310-330/pc in Klang Valley. Next best value choice will be FK510 which is around rm400/pc.

S1n2 is lower level, very high treadwear at 500 so the tread should last forever but grip and performance is not good. I would avoid and at bare minimum just get the V12E2.
