is it worth getting? mainly for reading and watching movies

yea this 1 but the LTE version with 3gb ram

my opinion best bang compared to ipad, as have

memory card support
LTE
full hd screen

and of all, cheaper than ipad wifi

Yea it's a lot cheaper compared to iPad.
Only problem is I couldn't find any accessories like casing or even tempered glass for it yet. Even Samsung store itself doesn't have them

too new, try aliexpress, plus tab accessories usually limited qty unless ipads

found the tempered glass and casing on taobao. will go get the tablet tonight or tmr night

Previous Tab A that has a stylus is good , so this year Tab A also must be also good or OK. UUU BBB...

the tab a 10.1 2019 doesnt come wit stylus tho and the battery is smaller than the 2016 model, not sure why the reduce the battery size

so far ok but im using it for movie and reading only. havent tested gaming yet coz no idea wat mobile game to play
battery life is good, can last entire day wit movie, reading, facebook, and surfing /k

for movie it is acceptable for me. its not the high end screen...err...cant rmb wat is tht called d. but its good enough for me, can match to my RM500 benQ monitor which i use everyday. i will try snap a photo of the screen tonight.

the ram is 2gb or 3gb?
cos the spec from gsmarena is 2gb which is odd
since 8 inch is 3gb....

wifi model is 2gb, lte is 3gb

Seems like Malaysia version (SM-T510NZDDXME) is 2Gb RAM while Singapore set is (SM-T510NZKEXSP) is 3Gb RAM.

I am using s5e (wifi only). So far I have noo issue with wifi.

not sure which model code is tht. but if u r talking about tab a 10.1, non lte version is 2gb ram while lte version is 3gb ram

Got few question for the Tab A 10.1 LTE version (SM-T515)

1. Can I make call/sms? If yes, does it have built in earpiece to make call?
2. Does the GPS is good for waze/google maps?
3. On landscape orientation, can split view 25% + 75%?

Off topic a bit...Really good of samsung, my tab 8.0 received android 11 update yesterday...i tot maximum at android 10 only.. not much to ask for the price since it just have 2gb of ram but overall for casual use its more than enough for me.. its still awesome to think still got android 11 and one ui 3.1 core

From 7.1.1, to 8.0 then 9.0, price just RM1100
But very laggy after android 9
Even that time 2019, flagship samsung even RM3k, 4k also get only 2 os upgrade

ya now samsung offer 3 major os update for 2019 onward which is very good
