Hey guys, I recently used my brother's macbook air 2014, and I noticed that it actually has much better battery life than my 13-inch macbook pro 2017. Just wondering if there's battery drain problem on my macbook? I usually use Google Chrome very often on a daily basis, I know how some say Google Chrome drains the battery a lot. But i did the same on my brother's old macbook air, and the battery life doesn't drop as much. I usually only get 7 hours max of battery life on my Macbook pro 2017. Is this normal?? Someone helpppp~~~~~~ This post has been edited by bumblebeez127: May 9 2019, 10:52 AM

QUOTE(jackiez @ May 11 2019, 08:31 PM) macbook air series does last longer than macbook pro, nothing wrong there. hmm..but i'm thinking if my macbook has battery drain problem. For example i charged my phone at 100% last night, but next day afternoon when i open up my laptop battery was at 78% even without touching it. Throughout the day I use a lot of apps including Google chrome, whatsapp, line and wechat apps simultaneously and probably that is what drains the battery a little. But with that, I only at most get about 4 hours of battery life. Is this normal? :/

However i've checked on Apple's website it seems there is an design fault in our macbook batch on the batteries. You may send to apple's service centre to get a free replacement. You can check your Mac's serial number on the link below: https://www.apple.com/support/13inch-macboo...ry-replacement/
