Hey guys,

I recently used my brother's macbook air 2014, and I noticed that it actually has much better battery life than my 13-inch macbook pro 2017.

Just wondering if there's battery drain problem on my macbook?

I usually use Google Chrome very often on a daily basis, I know how some say Google Chrome drains the battery a lot.

But i did the same on my brother's old macbook air, and the battery life doesn't drop as much.

I usually only get 7 hours max of battery life on my Macbook pro 2017.

Is this normal??

Someone helpppp~~~~~~

hmm..but i'm thinking if my macbook has battery drain problem. For example i charged my phone at 100% last night, but next day afternoon when i open up my laptop battery was at 78% even without touching it.

Throughout the day I use a lot of apps including Google chrome, whatsapp, line and wechat apps simultaneously and probably that is what drains the battery a little. But with that, I only at most get about 4 hours of battery life.

Is this normal? :/

Hey man, I'm experiencing the same issue with you. However i've checked on Apple's website it seems there is an design fault in our macbook batch on the batteries. You may send to apple's service centre to get a free replacement. You can check your Mac's serial number on the link below:
