by will doesn't mean u don't need to pay stamp duty bro(it's just a now or later problem)
i just want a way that can DIY transfer

i found out a way which is via memorandum of transfer(MOT)/form 14A
submit to calculate and pay stamp duty thn submit to land office
*transfer between family member is eligible for 50%-100% stamp duty waived

the only thing i'm not sure is can this be done by our ownselves or need runner
*
u can do by urself at the land office if you got too much free time.

best option is to find a lawyer friend and belanja him makan n minum maybe he will do free for u.

actually from all my relative case, all kena that(the bolded part) except for my grandpa's case which is done by his own younger sister
all lawyers are blood suckers bro, which is why they're so rich
which is also why i want to do it myself instead of letting lawyers earn that money

transferring between families can get 50% to 100% stamp duty waived anyway
since both case also needed to pay money(which i know), why not do it myself

p/s : i've never heard any lawyer charge only "legal fees only RM 300 + stamp duty RM 10 + other disbursements" for prop transfer with will before
at least around me i don't
*
i'm a lawyer but im not rich. where did i go wrong?

probably everything laugh.gif
of all the lawyers i know/saw, the only 1 that is not rich is actually not a full time lawyer
he is a lecturer at a university teaching business law(he taught me as well)

and on the side note since you're a lawyer, can u tell me what are the charges like after my death if i were to choose to transfer my prop through will?
because if it is like what "airtawarian" said, how do i even prevent them from charging based on the value of the property?

Have u watched the dark Knight?
