QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Aug 22 2007, 10:19 PM) Chipsi has currently mixed Pine into their wood shavings already. Coz now I have switched to Delikate..... if you put Delikate and Chipsi next to each other and smell each bedding, Chipsi has a stronger smell..... this is why I see some gerbils getting Bloody Nose now. No wonder one of my gerbil still got bloody nose... I bought 2 big pack of chipsi classic somemore... Yes, it was recommended before for it was the only bedding that was cheap last time. But now Delikate has improved in their wood shavings quality and hopefully it stays the same lah. Chipsi's quality has dropped. it doesn't state pine on the packaging but soft woods.... and normally soft wood is another name for Pine. If you have trouble getting Delikate, then use Chipsi. But if you can find Delikate, then make a switch. It is less dusty than Chipsi too. |

QUOTE(kembara @ Aug 24 2007, 11:05 AM) The dedusted softwood shavings ensure soft and hygienic nest. The natural shavings are made from specially chosen domestic fir and spruce woods, that are from their very compositions absorbent, odour-binding and guarantee a pleasant environment just right for pets. You better use Delikate as Hun mention earlier... Coz there is a really weird smell unlike last time... when i open the packet i was like http://www.jrs.de/cgi-bin/wPermission.cgi?...i_classic.shtml q: is fir and spruce wood safe forour hammies..? |

How about hamster making puffing sound.. like ''piff''?? Coz sometimes when I hold him he make this ''piff'' sound after sniffing my palm for quite awhile... Is it because my hand got gerbils smells??
