jz now brought my hammy to vet... she said its due to cut at his balls... no infection.... but both balls gone... now he become eunuch... and the thick skin developed on my hammy... she said due to kurap... some kinda parasite mites that live on hamster body that causes hair loss and malnutrition... she said can be cured by injection, but considering the age of my hamster, she said better dont la... now i'm considering my other hamster to take that injection... coz he is suffering from the same symptom as his papa... hair loss and malnutrition...

Pet Safari doesn't carry Critter Trail. They only carry Habitrail.

Both almost similar but Habitrail is easier to wash than Critter Trail. Coz I have both these cages.

The japanese brand would be WILD. The design overall is the same with Critter Trail... copy cat hahah.
I prefer Habitrail. But then I prefer DIY cages or tanks coz it is better for us to clean and handle, less stressful for our hamsters.

i used to like Habitrail Safari, the ones with the metal bars in front... a bit more 'air' for the hammies and can be extended with normal habitrail tubing as well... for some strange reason my female hammies would always nest in the attachment areas instead of the airy bit... but once i had a little runt fall out thru the bars! luckily he fell asleep right outside the cage... do they still make the Safari?

i think u should clean it like 1 week once better la... sometimes when the hamster pee la...the bedding absorb...but then as the days goes by, it would get less absorbent one...coz thats what happening with my hammy la...
the bedding actually changes from light yellow to darker shade of yellow one...so i change her bedding every week at maximum...
