I like petshack because they have hamsters stuff. Not a lot of small petshops has a lot of hamsters stuffs, they always have stuffs for cats, dogs and fish. Only the big ones have more hamsters stuffs.

The thing is, for his size the ball is big lah, can see already. But I think it's normal for them to have big balls

Hmmm... Mofo is the biggest, he is 6 mths old. I dont measure him tho. GP is cuteeeeee but they are big. The cage also need to be really big. If you have a garden then nice lor. If you keep in the house, I think best to let it roam the house (provided it is safe for him la).

That is a 7 inch wheel. Now he's bigger and using an 8 inch wheel.

MoFo was in trance last night, so funny! I read that it is normal for hamsters to do this... he was running on his wheel then suddenly he 'froze'. he stared at one place for a loooooooooong time like in deep trance. Hahahah... it was really funny to see him. Then as if like he is out of trance, he terkejut and run for his life before settling behind the wheel. Then he did the trance thing again but only for a short while... before finally settling near his hut to nap.

Any reason why he did that? If he did this in the wild sure kena makan predator already leh.

By the way, I managed to take a whole bunch of pic while he was in trance. Here are some. Geez... my boy so handsome horrrr...





Also mananged to take pic of Miki aka Mini. You can see his balls. I want to pick him and shot pics of his balls, but he wiggles too much. This is the best I can do!






PS: Yesterday went to The Curve, saw 2 VERY CUTE long hair syrians for sale. The same place where I bought my winter whites last time. I asked the guy he said they are 4 months old. I am very sure they are siblings and one pair living in one guppy fish tank. I know, very very small tank, I hope at the seller place they have bigger place for them. Their condition is actually very good, they don't look sick or mistreated. Not that I can see la. I NEARLLY bought them but my friends scolded me already their hair is really long wor... I likeeee. Both are golden banded, maybe golden umbros banded, me dunno know much about colors. Didn't ask the price... I didn't touch them also to see if they are biters or not... both are sleeping so I think if I kacau sure kena bite one, haha.

Heheh, actually it was a small jam container I got during my trip to holland. I am still to buy Miki his waterbottle. Last time I didnt because it was supposed to be temporary... now that he's staying with me, I need to get that soon. I'm also waiting for a friend of mine to drill a hole. But the water is changed daily anyway and it is very shallow... I dont worry about it too much...

I havent been to Carrefour for a long time but my friend did say the hamsters are so sad.
The stalls always change either to right or left side of cineleisure, so the best way to find is to walk the whole stretch of stalls there. I havent seen the GP before but I've seen hamsters, sugar glider, scorpions and that lizard thingy.

The conditions of their animals are not pitiful tho... even the sugar gliders last time was tame, clean and very cute... but they did selling very young hamsters.
Pet Safari Ikano has a very pitiful looking sugar glider.

PS: I thot Fumoffu is from Carrefour? U must be very lucky then!

Hahaha, hamsters ARE lazy. Well, at least the syrians. MoFo SLEEPS a lot. He usually wakes up at 10-11pm. Before that time, he just wakes up for 1 min to drink, pee or take a bite in his bowl. When I kacau him at this time, he just ignore me. If he is too annoyed he just went back in to his small hut. Sometimes I wonder how his fat ass can be comfortable in that very tight place. Hehe, but he loves it, so I'm ok.

The babies are more active but I think that's normal. The older you get, the less active you get. Just like human

I usually sleep at 3-4am just because I want to play with MoFo.

Go to pet safari, they have golden and cream. I dont know if they have now, but if you want a syrian, u need to always check because they sell like goreng pisang panas. U can also go to the curve one shot when u go to pet safari but must over the weekend, because the stall that sells hamsters are only over the weekend.

I think Mobee is a runt. He is still small and still very skittish Miki and Mokie is about the same size now... only Miki has bigger balls. Oh well, patience is the only way to go!!!

I've seen worse petshops. Petshack is considered clean and the reason you can smell the animals are because it's airconditoned lah. Like if u smoke in your house and it is airconditioned, sure can smell like stale smoke one. Petshops that is not airconditioned but reeks with animals smells and poo shud be the one to be worried about.
