Jayce, does this good for powerpoint / PDF presentation ?

Yes at dim environment.

Jayce, may i know what are the feature we looking in order to get a good presentation projector? does it be brightness? if so, what are the minimum requirement ?

Between, if i'm right on projector plug type, ours m'sia is using UK plug, but i normally see gearbest selling with US or Euro plug kind, may i know which we should go for if UK plug is not available ?

Depending on your usage. Full HD is a must for me. Brightness for larger picture. Else make picture smaller to increase brightness.

And no worry about plug type. Projector uses same cable as PC monitor and PSU. Just buy an UK plug cable locally will do.

I've recently upgraded all of my meeting room projectors, learn a bit from my vendor.

For office use, will depend on 3 factors:

- The screen size (width, most importantly)
- Distance between the projector and the screen (throw distance)
- An estimate of the amount of ambient light present in the room in which the projector will be used in

Meeting rooms where the lights can be dimmed, if not fully off; need at least 3000 lumens or higher.

Resolution go for minimum WXGA (1280 x 800) for normal powerpoint presentations. Higher up like UXGA (1600 x 1200)(4:3) or WUXGA (16:10)(1920 x 1200) for video or photos presentations.

Another important factor to consider is the cost of replacement parts like the bulb of the projector, filter, etc.

The power plug can be easily changed by getting another cable.

Btw, for the bulb replacement, i heard it is good to replace a new projector instead, as bulb price is not cheap and might not able to find it for the same after sometimes due to obsolete model

For vivbright f30, may I know the reason with Android system? Does it means I can plug in USB for presentation without the need of computer ?

I didn't try out Android version. But it should work like Android TV Box. So you can use USB to present PPT through USB port directly.

The cost for the projector bulb will depend as some brand will cost more while there are some which are lower cost.

Usually, higher-end projectors will cost more for the spare parts. You'll need to check the part price too first before considering which projector to get.

Where could I buy this projector locally (malaysia). Searched Lazada but there only the Aun brand that look kind of the same.

All F30 projectors are from same factory. Just different brand. But I don't see local got sell even in Lazada @ http://bit.ly/2LIgNYQ

I ordered the F30 from GearBest, but the delivery from Sea which i didn't noticed, and yet to arrive since 13 July, really a nightmare to me

SEA Express is either ABX or Citylink so far. So you contacted GB yet?

I did contacts GB, they told me it is by Sea not flight and ask me check with local Carrier service(i initially check with Pos Laju via email, but no response from them) or wait until Sept , and i did the same with CityLink this morning, they need to check with operation dept and come back to me ...

When i look at SeaExpress, i thought it is by ship or sea too, lucky you corrected me , thanks again !

So any update? If paid by PayPal, can ask them to refund now.

after checked with Citilink, they asked to check with GB ...and GB mentioned need to wait until sept ..

Wow. Sept is a long wait. What is reason given by GB?

They told it is caused by transporter ....terrible experience ....may be i should try to ask for refund, but i need the projector

FYI, F40 is basically F30 with different outlook.

F30 and F40 has the same spec but F40 come with Android, with hardware 1Gb ram and 8gb storage.

but it seen F40 android is not that stable. so I buy F30 lo..

F30 is really powerful.

remember to use dark grey screen. u will love it

when play the fan noise is really make noise, because internal using PC tower fan for cooling system.

and the surround sound system build in is so good.

only RM712.50 with Full HD output where to find. some more even better than canon or Epson.

just the size is a bit bulky.

this model display lack is only 5ms @ 60hz. so basic pro gamer is ok to use. i also informed the seller to come in promote his product.

he got all range of Vivibright product. ask him or Screw him is still your choice... but he is nice guy...

i will use this projector for lecturing presentation, thought of having android is easy as i don't need to hook with notebook for pdf / powerpoint display as it also support mirroring...what do you guy think ? is it better to use notebook for my case ?

i get some info from seller, f40 have metal casing and better cooling system, and it using android version 6.

Maxtor1, i believe Epson or other common brand in M'sia could easily find parts replacement like lamp bulb, i just pray hard it won't get issues within 2 years and he might no longer sell or support vivbright brand after awhile or perhaps in different profession ...so risk is still there ...but i willing to take the risk since it is really value for money.

The seller has show me the internal parts. No worry, the parts is easy to replace.

I believe it can last more that 2 years.

It is also my 1st projector for entertaintment gaming, and work. In the near future you can also considering the laser type which short distance to wall type. Yes for now even vivibright is expensive at RM2899, xiaomi sell over 4000. That will be very much powerful.

Yup, i'm dealing with the same guy, he actually recommend me below model as presentation projector due to text display quality, but i think this type of projector have shorter lamp life, i believe you better on projector understanding, does it worth to try ?
