Hi guys,
here is my problem:

In Trash, there is Applications folder which got Downloader Folder and inside Downloader got Poisoned Application file (icon = 3 papers background with A made of Pen, Pencil and Ruler).

I try to empty trash..everything run fine and got the sound of trash been emptied..Then after that i see the trash icon still indicate there's file inside, and when i check, the folder still there..

Try again after restart, the problem is still there..
Try uninstall Poisoned, empty trash, the problem still won't go away..

how do i delete this folder?
can anybody help me?

Ya that used to happen to many of us, with Bootcamp installed. Once you click on the files in Trash, they just disappear..

Click on Desktop
Click Finder on the toolbar
Click on Secure Empty Trash
Profit?

Maybe you could try restoring it first, then deleting them file by file. Or try using some other 3rd party applications to perform the similar "Secure Empty Trash" action.

Btw, what does Poisoned Application do anyway?

Just drag it out from Trash, to anywhere you like.

Try to force empty the trash from Terminal... "sudo m -rf ~/.Trash" exactly the same command there, nothing more nothing less... And see if it's gone or not...?

Alternatively you could download some program like "Cocktail" that also has a "force empty trash" feature, just click it and you should be done.
The other thing that might be happening is that the file is still in use somewhere. Try going to the Activity Monitor (located inside ur Utilities folder), and the maybe search for it, it might still be running some sorta agent.

Also you can check the "get info" menu, and see if the file is Locked.

Hope this helps for people who encounter similar problems in the future smile.gif.

This might be a little bit out of topic, but I wonder why trash problem exists if we install bootcamp? Still no solution for it right?
