Extra
This information is direct from the mouth of an ex (General Electrics Plastics division) GEP employee.
Normal plastic interior car uses coloured plastics pallets.
Proton cars (I know Wira and waja) uses plastic rasin and paint them over. The paint they use, will eat into the plastic over time. As the same as Iswara's glue type they used will degrade after maybe 10 years and start eating through the metal parts of the bonnet and creating dimples through the paint.

so all proton owner dont know how to take care of their car?but why i dint heard honda nissan owner complaining so much on their car
*
OMG! I also heard more complaints from Toyota, Suzuki, Volvo, Mercedes and even Alfa Romeo compared to Proton! (I don't know if Proton really no problem, or already too many mechs making a living fixing Protons...)

Now I wonder why do people still keep on going back to buy them and even still recommend those cars to their family and friends?

Heck, The only reason why would anyone would want to buy a Proton (In this case, a Savvy) is:
1. So strong that you'll survive even a monster grabbing your car to scratch his back and still be able to enjoy the high quality sound system. (Okay, I know it's just an advertisment. Have you seen the Savvy which survived a sumersault over an entire garden and landed right in front of a house window and survived? Hack, it's so tough! They can tell that because the car is upside down but the flower pots isn't even broken. *Cough* Those who are observant will notice how the actual road was just a few human steps away from the accident point.)
2. So fast! Top speed 170KMh can easily beat Vios and City!
3. With all that Power, only RM0.04 per KM! Wahhh!!!!
4. You actually care about "Originality" and don't mind paying extra for a car different from others.
5. AMT! Automated Manual Transmission! Does it even makes sense? Heck, it's a Renault so it must be good right? (talk about originality)
6. When a Proton goes into the workshop with a lot of problems, it must be the Driver's problem. Not the car's problem. Because it's already TUV approved. With other cars, it's the car manufacturer's/designer's problem. Other cars with ISO9001 (International) are nothing compared to TUV(German).
7. Super great handling! Which made it ending up upside down in Singapore.
8. Cheaper replacement parts! (But always complain about expensive but inferior vendor parts) How logical.
9. Because Proton changed already laaaa...
10. Because hypermount said so!

seriously speaking, i'm sure all of u agree with me on this one:
1) NONE of the Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota, Mazda) has manual transmission.. only auto transmission...  i dont see any manual vios or city or civic..

I do not see you mentioning about only in Malaysia.
