better not use those 3rd party adapter, might work fine on the surface but the hardware will have to deal with higher errors caused by synchronization mismatches especially in high speed signals.

I did considered such solutions for my main SSD and 3rd party connector to add 2nd SSD to my Mac mini. In the end, I just relied on the ori SSD and managed to source an ori 2nd drive cable from another Mac Mini. Losing data isn't fun even if you have a ton of backups.
