u just imagine it's like nasi goreng kelantan, nasi goreng perak ... etc
most malaysian chinese are southern han:
- cantonese
- hokkien
- hakka
- hainanese
- teochew
- foochow (fook chow), (fuzhou also a city in china)
that's why you will often hear name of food like 'hainanese chicken rice', 'hokkien mee' ... etc
