Conclusion

All in all a very nice device, with good battery life, and all the software features I need on the road, including push email, Windows Mobile Media player, the Microsoft Office suite. The device does the things it does well, the Voice Commander software is a nice to have feature. The thing that would make it a killer device for me would be GPS. It's small enough to be shoved into your pocket, and has enough battery for a long day on the road including making voice calls and receiving push email all day.

well.. call them up multiple times and attempt to make a big fuss out of it and you'll get your iPAQ pretty quick.. actually i waited for a month and a week for mine to arrive lol..

Ahh, must be one of the lucky two to have bought it with a free Jabra BT from HP midnight sale 

using TCPMP's Equilizer, i can make the speaker really suffer when amp-ed to the max lol.. yes it's definately louder than SE K618i.

Will do skype soon, haha..
as for heat issue, the battery will get a little warm if being constantly used... (Tried DL the latest Crysis Movie through EDGE, but then the battery already badly exhausted by my day-long MSN sessions)

I hve been a Ipaq user for a long time from the early 3800 series to the 3417(wifi) and currently
for the past 2 years Ipaq 6365. Have been  salavating   on the Ipaq 6828, but now
my attention has turned to the 512 series. Seems like with the feedbacks given here its a good buy,
BUT it looks a bit odd to me that non of the local IT mag's have reviewed it thus far or did I miss
the article? I buy HWM and PC.Com, has anyone else seen any local review, sorry ya...
