hi ppl.. just got my HP iPAQ 512 this afternoon.. here's a pic comparing it with SE K618i

well.. call them up multiple times and attempt to make a big fuss out of it and you'll get your iPAQ pretty quick.. actually i waited for a month and a week for mine to arrive lol..

hi hi ppl.. ok got to use the HP 512 for the whole day today... was on EDGE the whole day MSN-ing lol..

some quick comments:-
-menu and layout need a little getting used to from SE phone
-MSN works great, however couldn't get it to work with WiFi yet.. only through EDGE for now. And the "add emoticon" seems lil buggy.. sometimes it will kick me out of MSN and i need to re-signin.
-speaker is loud ( comparable to K618i)
-keypads little hard to press, or maybe it's just too hard compared to K618
-camera is a letdown.. 1.3mp w/o full screen viewfinder?

more coming soon as i play around with this lil machine

using TCPMP's Equilizer, i can make the speaker really suffer when amp-ed to the max lol.. yes it's definately louder than SE K618i.

as for heat issue, the battery will get a little warm if being constantly used... (Tried DL the latest Crysis Movie through EDGE, but then the battery already badly exhausted by my day-long MSN sessions)

still trying to customise the Home Screen.. help anyone ??

hmm.. been using the IPaQ 512 for MSN the whole day only all this while lol...
well it last roughly 8hrs of MSN over EDGE so it's ok i guess...

no Skype support (yet)
call quality good
really solid design.. classier than N73 IMHO!

msn messenger have some problem showing emoticons.. so just type the appropriate symbols (e.g : + ) ) and sometime it'll show sometime it'll not.. trying to add emoticons through the 'menu' commands usually makes messenger restarts... i only managed to use the 'menu' way works once...
