which one, specifically, and for what occasion?

Try Isigny, Pamplie, Isigny. Slightly salted or sea salted if you like to eat by itself or with bread

It is available in most Village Grocer/Jaya Grocer/Cold Storage. I haven't tried coarse salt, you can try.
French butter is usually cultured, so the taste is slightly tangy.
Luprak which is Danish butter is also not bad, but I still prefer French butter.

SCS, Anchor, Farmcow, those I use to think good, but now I've moved on biggrin.gif.
Short to going to artisan French butter which if lucky you can find in Mercato in Pavillion.

Yes sometimes I eat itself, it's good enough to do so laugh.gif
But on slice of sourdough bread is just heaven!
