Considering that TM now wants to send a TAC before accessing the coverage checker I'd say there will be demand for a less obnoxious version of Unifi coverage checker.

I concur.
Yesterday I tried in vain to check coverage for a client. ranting.gif

They won't implement coverage checker.

Why?

Because there's a lot of under table deals going on between the Telcos, so not to step over into each other's territory.

e.g. my building got both Unifi and Time, but since Time build the infra they can limit how many Unifi customers they want to let in... so if limit is reached, even if you have Unifi coverage, they still cannot activate your line..

Some condo/flat/high rise management have agreement with telco.

Example, if condo management agreed to let TIME provide fiber connectivity and fibre wiring to all units with TIME paying for the cost, it is agreed upon only TIME is allowed by management to provide internet service for condo residents.
In this case, not really a problem lah......TIME internet package = cheapest among all "competitors", good for those lucky resident too....I am so jealous.....

tm's own checker is troublesome to use.
