His behaviour will be considered as unbecoming of a medical doctor and professional misconduct....which is enough to potentially be subject to suspension or even striking off by the registration authority....
It doesn't matter where he post his comments....as unlike criminal offences, where the location an offence is committed is relevant as to jurisdiction, professional misconduct just view your action, regardless of where you action occurs....
He is ignorant to think that medical board cannot get him....

QUOTE(kons @ Apr 30 2019, 09:06 AM) worst case he will come back to malaysia and continue his profession here. furthermore maybe he can enjoy the returning expert programme (REP) as well. If he has been found guilty of professional misconduct by another jurisdiction, the Malaysian authority are empowered to also take action against him if he is registered in Msia....

QUOTE(y500 @ Apr 30 2019, 09:53 AM) doxx Expose someone's true identity, usually a name or address. It's one of the scummiest things someone can do on the internet -Bladewing10 @ Reddit Someone called the police local to the doxx-ee pretending to be him, and claimed he killed his girlfriend and had a bomb. -drislands @ Reddit QUOTE(Starbucki @ Apr 30 2019, 09:54 AM) Exposing his identity voluntarily. And being exposed by others, say. Any difference in proceedings? I believe he made no secret of his real identity.... In any case, action can be taken as long as there is a complain....similar to the police.... so no difference....

QUOTE(Level 60 Wizard @ Apr 30 2019, 02:11 PM) refer back to my post about his action being mere forum postings For other professions, it may be mere forum alterego, but for doctors, there is very clear guidelines on what is acceptable behaviour..... In any case, the tribunal has already found him guilty and imposed a reprimand, 6 weeks suspension, and to undergo counselling on acceptable behaviour in social media.....

QUOTE(Level 60 Wizard @ Apr 30 2019, 02:23 PM) doubt it is alter ego case he clearly mention it that that is how he behaves, on or offline more like walking the talk kind of guy not ur mere keyboard warrior Yes, he indicated so, but in the hearing, did indicate he now disagree with his own comments..... That is taken into consideration in the decision and punishment....
