Forgive me for my ignorance but I only came to realise today that McDelivery actually mark up their price for their set meals.

For example, a McChicken set with coke and Fries is about RM9.50 dine in, but McDelivery charges RM13.20 for the same thing, EXCLUDING DELIVERY CHARGE

Same goes to other set meals.

Do you McDelivery should be reported? Or do you think this is fair?

Mcd restaurant got different tiers and that decides the price. Mcdelivery price follow the highest tier i believe.

Can cross check airport mcd price with mcdelivery price. Should cost almost the same.

Yeah was shocked when my wife order delivery for both of us and the total damage was like rm30+

I just find it difficult to comprehend, lets say Mcdonald Telawi@Bangsar, McChicken RM9.50, but when delivery from same shop it shoots up to RM13.2. Same burger coming from same location, but tiba2 mark up kao2.

Kecian these rempit still make minimum wage while the marked up price McD songlap.

If it's too expensive then just don't use their service. Eat in their restaurant or tapao.
KFC also sama je. Same price but smaller portion for delivery. I never use them. Nak delivery, order Domino's.
What I can't "comprehend" is Malaysian mentality, too expensive then lipot gomen.
There's plenty of alternatives out there. Food panda, grabfood.
Stop spending and they'll eventually get fucked up and backs off with their price.
Plus, there's lots of food with ridiculous price out there as well.

Dude, those are limited tea-time period 3-6pm, normal price much higher than that (not to forget those are meals for 2 or more, single guy get fucuked), and on top of all that price premium, you still need to pay additional delivery fee.

use their delivery 1 time only. after grab/panda food delivery available in my area straight away use other delivery service. cheaper.

Come on, exercise your consumer's right.

Not only you can boycott them, you should exercise your right by reporting them to relevant agency eg KPDNKK.

Same food coming from the restaurant got marked up 30% - 40% or more just because it got delivered. Why can't they instead charge a one-off delivery fee rather than marking up all their prices?

Take this scenario. 10 guys ordered 10 set of McChicken Delivery. On top of the RM4 delivery fee paid, each meal is RM4 more expensive. That's RM40 marked up price + RM4 delivery fee.

If you think this is reasonable, I cannot brain and we should stop the debate lol.

The money songlap-ed by McDonalds will never get channeled to these hard working delivery boys.

Let's say a corporate customer orders 20 set of McChicken for their staff, each McChicken on average cost RM4 more, that's RM4 X 20, and another RM4 delivery. RM84 extra just because food got delivered.

To me it's daylight robbery. You can't just tell people off: expensive, don't order lah.

Some customers are not aware of the price difference and they just got silently chopped.

I no longer use McDelivery or KFC delivery. Only grabfood now, even then only when grab has promo.
