We are looking for Senior Product Designers with approximately 4-5 years of experience!

As a product designer in SMX, you will create a range of items, from everyday products to innovative concepts such as toys, household goods, small goods to more complicated items such as serve rituals, glorifiers and sophisticated toys which will be available in Malaysia.

You might work on new products or improve existing ones, and use your understanding of technology, materials and manufacturing methods to improve the design and usability of an item. The work involves:
- Concepts
- Designing
- Modelling
- Producing prototypes
- Testing


You’ll be busy juggling different projects and products, but tasks usually include:
- Establishing the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria
- Research and develop cool concepts and ideas as part of a team
- Sketching initial design ideas
- Identifying the suitability and availability in materials
- Producing detailed, final hand drawings and specifications using dedicated computer software to produce design specifications, including parts lists
- Making samples or working on models by hand or using prototyping equipment
- Testing the design concept by computerized modelling or physical hands-on testing of models
- Researching materials, processes and market requirements.
- Occasionally travelling to production facilities and evaluating the feasibility of production ( Travelling to China )
- Making presentations to clients either when bidding for a contract or to present design proposal to Creating FA

If you have the below skills:
- Creative and innovative
- Computer literacy including three-dimensional conceptual ability and CAD (computer-aided design)
- Ability to cope with the pressure of deadlines
- Have approximately 4-5 years of product or industrial design experience
