Did anyone received the notification letter for sitting the MEXT 2020 written exam?

Hi. I applied MEXT for postgrad but haven't got any email or notification letter. Have u got it?

I called embassy japan few days ago. They said result will be out at 2nd week of may as they haven finish document screening.

Cool, thanks for the info. Been quite nervous since I saw last few years people got their notices around the end of April. Are u applying for undergrad?

Hi, I'm currently applying for MEXT Undergraduate admission year 2020. They say should be out by May. If it's 2nd week....should be this week, right?

Also, I'm curious - has anyone tried out the past year exam papers for MEXT?

I apply for postgrad.

I checked out the English paper and Japanese paper for a bit just to know what kind of questions they asked. Never tried it out properly.

Btw does anyone know what level the exam's syllabus will be? I read somewhere that it's between SPM and STPM level. So I'm assuming it's at foundation level?

I heard the examination is somewhere in our Pre-U level.

Has anyone tried the past year examination papers yet? Cuz when I first see them, they are quite hard, especially Maths B and Physics. Some questions in Chemistry aren't even in our Pre-U syllabus.....

Also, does anyone here has any source for mock test for MEXT and the past year papers for 2017 till 2019? Would be extremely helpful!
