I went to gear box specialist to repair, I think they replaced the bearing and etc. Total repair  cost 4.5k. Could be I am few of the unlucky one. I did wrote to Nissan to complaint this matter and my mileage was just 32k even after 3.5 years. But they don't entertain, just say after 3 years warranty period. They can't do anything. Sigh.....

You know whats the problem with Malaysia?
They aren't like the States. Or Singapore , with Lemon Law.

Consumer protection here is weak. I dont know how this case will be handled should you report it to KPDNKK.
If it were in the States, as I read, many has file lawsuit with Nissan of USA.
So much so that they extended the warranty . But not here.

So they (Tan Chong) aren't afraid of you complaining till the moon and beyond. All they do is just shut up and ignore.
(I experience this personally with Proton myself, but thats a different story, non-CVT related, just some mechanic negligence which caused me to encounter breakdown)

Kinda like you have to swallow down the shit.

Gone are the days of Datsun 120Y, Nissan Sunny, Nissan Vanette, to name a few 80s and 90s cars. All legendary heroes.
Ever since Nissan joint alliance with Renault and then later with Mitsu , and together with the Carlos Ghosn scandal, all gone down the drain.

It's sad to see after the merger, Nissan lost its original philosophy.
I mean - Gone are the days of Datsun cars. Datsun 120Y, Sunny 130y, Vanette. Just to name a few . (Please do list down some of the classics I missed out).
Yes I know we are in the modern age.

Just what if, example, a Nissan Sunny 130y can be modernised slightly. Slight redesign to the body work but retain its classic look.

For me, it's the Cefiro V6. Last of the great Nissan. That V6 was something else. Once drove a friend's 2.0 V6 with six adults (for a short trip to the mamak) and that Cefiro was pulling away from standstill !!

Really? I thought they always say the 2.0L version is the most under-powered version in Cefiro unlike it's 3.0L brother. smile.gif
Oh well, that's the last V6 (or in-line 6) we will see in Cefiros. Now all boring 4 cylinder engines.

But if I would quote legendary engines, will be the RB-series. RB20 RB 25 etc.
Cefiro A31 once had a RB20E (SOHC non turbo) and that car is very popular in becoming a monstrous drift machine.

Nissan Sentra B13 aka genting taxi

Haha yeah...the B13. I think most of the B13 has gone to the scrap yard. Rare car.
After that its the B14 before switching completely to a totally new Sentra which is N16.
