Hi,
Any review done on Asus ROG Strix series ?
Hero 3 or scar 3.

Between those branded brand compare with Illegear. Which more stable ?
looking for stable and performance.

My budget around 5000-6000.
preference then would be battery life.. but gaming battery won't last long.

The lenovo voucher code = LENXCIMB
must be check out with CIMB card only ?

Preferred max weight in kg and min battery life in hours?
*
Max 2.8kg
Min battery without gaming - browsing + some word/excel = 3-4 hours

No need spend 7k for 2060, 5k-6k is enough

If you don't mind red accents: Lenovo Legion Y7000SE with code LENXCIMB (someone tried using other band card and it worked)
i7-9750H, RTX2060, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD+1TB SSD, 144Hz IPS, 2X2 WIFI, 2 yr premier onsite, under RM5k

Other options with 2060 / 1660Ti 90W:
Lenovo Legion Y740 15 81HE007EMJ: TB3
Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-794X
Lenovo Legion Y540 customize / 81SX004XMJ: use code LENXCIMB
Commandos Glock 5 Alpha: i7 upgrade expensive

Thin and lights, requires tuning with Turbo mode:
Level51 Vapor 15 Pro: long battery life, TB3
Illegear Onyx: 115W 2060, opt for battery upgrade if you want more battery life
Illegear Prodigy: opt for battery upgrade if you want more battery life

Refer to topic above

Y7000SE build better?
Y740 and Y540 all seem like same spec and design.

Y740 is better, but doesn't mean Y540 has bad build quality

Different cooling: Y740 cools slightly better despite slightly thinner chassis
Y740 has GSYNC, RGB and TB3
Y740 don't have numpad and has weird keyboard layout+worse typing feel

Y540 is the same with Y7000SE
*
Y7000SE build and thermal cooling same with Y540 ?
RM550 different between these 2 model.

Yes, RAM and SSD upgrades in Y7000SE also cheaper
*
Customize both with the same spec. And different RM550.
Just curious instead of the cover back design and keyboard backlight different. Any significant performance/feature different.

Y540 can get H300 headphone with RM1 <--this the additional from Y540.

LENXCIMB can be applied on the Y7000 Black
Estimated total: RM4,961.80

Seem like the ready-made spec got some component not able to choose in the customization section.
Hard Drive: 1TB 7200+512GB SSD PCIe
Wireless: Intel Jefferson Peak 2 9560 2x2ac+BT5.0 Non-Vpro

Now myself being a dilemma of choosing Y7000SE with Y540 17IRH.
Bigger body better thermal ventilation?

L7: metal C cover, 100g less, design (looks more premium?), RGB light show, slightly thinner, can open lid 180 degrees vs 135, 1.3mm vs 1.5mm key travel, VC cooling, can choose 3080 150-165W, can choose 5900HX
*
3080 + 5900HX way over my budget, need around 10K.

L5P lid cannot open 180 degrees? Not all legion can open 180?
Can share abit on the screen? AMD Freesyn and VESA DIsplayHDR™ 400?
