Only find RM1010 for thinkpad 13s give up.

Actually they’re quite bad choice for 2019 in gaming sense.

1050TI is sort of irrelevant in gaming laptops for 2019, after the launch of GTX1650.

But again, if it’s for sale under RM3k, it’s still a steal.

ah we have same taste, but my ssd only 256gb coz will exceed my budget (already add 2k from original budget 2.5k) XD

mine expected to ship 14th Oct & arrived 21st Oct. If it's true then it's good coz i expect to be waiting till december

Arrival date is only estimated and should be reach earlier, that is before 21st Oct.
My laptop initial arrival date is estimated 15 Oct, but actual arrival is 11 Oct.

is it because of UPS or the delivery just happen to be earlier? cause i read on other lowyat forum they said we can't track the order anymore once it have been handled by our local shipment company

Delivery will be handle by UPS as well. I check the UPS delivery option selected by Lenovo, UPS shipment in 1-3 days. About the local shipment company comment, I read that too, but not sure about it coz mine laptop is delivered by UPS.

Also, I think Lenovo or UPS has make improvement regarding the missing import license thing. While the laptop still in transit in China, UPS will trigger the "missing import license" in Malaysia, and (possible Lenovo or its clearance agency) will settle it right before the shipment to Malaysia, indirectly speed up delivery time. You may find this in the UPS tracking.

My example below, UPS/Lenovo trigger "missing import license" 09 Oct, and settle it by 10 Oct, while Laptop still yet to reach Malaysia.

thanks for the explanation. my laptop just got ship today, and UPS estimate received 18/10 (this friday i hope so) and will receive my freebies earlier on 16/10.

Is the laptop capable of playing the current or even latest games especially games like PUBG and Fortnite at this price point and specification?

With 8GBx2, GTX1050 3GB and 120HZ display, 512GB M2 and Intel i5-9300H, would it have overheating issue for prolong gaming session?

Especially with aircon off in a room?

Anyone gaming this laptop at this specification?
