A bit expensive TBH, even including the price of free gifts. Still can consider 81Y6007VMJ and 82AW003FMJ

Also, RAM is 8GB and base warranty is 1 year Depot according to the tech specs (I checked the one for 81Y6007VMJ). Also dont know can upgrade RAM and warranty or not.

But ya now i look at it again on lenovo websie seems like i5 is only rm200 higher than 4600 now. ALL other spec is same.
If this trend is same for i7&4800 then legion5 4800+2060 should be 4.9k.
EVEN IF WORST CASE SCENARIO it should be priced as same as i7+2060 5.1k, which is still far cheaper then u asus seller LOL.

16gb? 1tb? Legion 5i ALSO provide it AND WITH EXTRA+256gb and battery 60wh is better than asus tuf 49wh man.
Thermal by previous tuf is also inferior to y540, there is no justification for the price. ROG ALIEN though for the eyes and brand is the other story, tuf have nothing but charge 5.6k?

What is ODM? Their prices are really tempting though. They have really good specs with affordable pricing. Something like Illegear ONYX V RYZEN 4800H/RTX2060 is below rm5k. Not sure what to do hahahha

Onyx is lighter but lenovo has bigger battery capacity.

illegear Onyx v ryzen - rm3325 (after 5% cash discount)
lenovo legion 5 (default) - rm3002 (after using LENXCIMB)

Will there be any large discount for illegear in 11.11 or 12.12 every year?

-cools slightly better than previous gen (Y540, Y740 which is aldy decent)
-decent performance: high CPU power limits, higher GPU TGP in certain models (eg 5Pi 2060 is 100W, 7i 2060 is 109W)
-sound system quite good
-5 (AMD), 5i and 7i all have camera on top with privacy shutter, 5Pi doesn't have webcam
-established brands always have slight advantage than ODM brands (Clevo, Tongfang etc) in terms of build+QC, however this doesn't mean that lemon units won't happen
-Onyx V has aluminium build, Legion 5 series uses plastic build but definitely doesn't look cheap
-global warranty only limited to certain models, I don't think Legion laptops have it. Of course custom laptops don't have it also

Thanks for the reply. Can u give me more details in legion regarding its cooling, Performance and sound system. I saw the design and was well satisfied except for the nose cam but I am not sure whether other aspects perform well as well or not. Are there any disadvantages for this 5i? In terms of build quality, is it better than illegear onyx v,which is made out of aluminum? If my laptop malfunction at overseas, can I get a repair at the foreign SC?
