Hi, what do you think about Ideapad Flex 5i 14 inch? the Intel Core i5-1135G7 Processor ( 2.40GHz 8MB ) one.

Budget is around RM3k. Not considering Huawei Matebook because the webcam from keyboard =/

Only for meeting(zoom and teams) and some paperwork use.

Thanks ahead!

build quality not great

Any preferences/requirements on the laptop? How long can you wait?

I see! I did purposely went to lowyat to have a look at flex today, thought it will be good doh.gif

- Budget around RM3k
- 8gb RAM at least
- actually what do you think about 11 gen intel vs 4000 series AMD? I know 4000 series AMD is VERY out of stock now
- 512gb SSD if possible
- Decent webcam for meeting
- No issue with waiting time

Thanks ahead!

Many laptops are OOS not just Ryzen

If no issue with wait time, can consider Thinkpad L14 AMD/L15 AMD

Get an external webcam as 99% laptops have mediocre webcam

I did consider thinkpad L14 AMD/ L15 AMD, but without the BIGSALE voucher, seems like a bit expensive since i planning to add the 3 years premier support also. Now only can use IPRICE i think. L15 AMD got extra slot to add ram? I planning to get the 4500U variant. Should be sufficient right?

ya only prob now is onsite upgrade is too expensive, have to settle with 3yr carry in

2 RAM slots

no choice but to take the upgrade also, because the place I am in don't have service center, will be a hassle to carry in.

Anyway, thanks very much for the information! I guess ill settle with the 4500U variant.

if no sc nearby, chances are onsite won't work also

the SC is around 70km away, my friend did an onsite warranty claim yesterday, the technician did come over. So, I guess all good. rclxm9.gif
