I think theoretically or ptactically, not ever one chip will achieve more than 5 GHz due to some physical limitations such as transistor switching in the chip, correct me if i wrong.

if u can even boot into Windows with 8 Ghz is an achievement~~

If u see the verification file, its using single channel thus can overclock higher than DC and 8 ghz is like old news already~~

their using nitrogen cooling i think..world record is 8 ghz for p4..they wanted to go further but the motherboard..a P5B,cant go an further..

yeah its just a matter of using liquad nitrogen...only for grabbing benches and screen shots...nothing which can be run daily...

maybe it's a good batch for the pentium,need low voltage to hit the 8GHz,yes,it long time already,the world record of P4.

forget to tell u that the overclocker is from Team OC Italy.

they not only get 8001MHz,the final result ith same proc and same mobo,everything same hitting 8180MHz,using nitrogen cooling. rclxms.gif
