From what I've seen and read so far, I'm pretty hyped-up for this movie...
 heck, I'm even more excited over this than Iron Man (even though I grew up watching them both). The CGi is so surreal, it's like you're in another world. After all, watching a movie is all about escaping reality right? This is going to be one heck of a rollercoaster ride... A couple of trailers I stumbled upon... I caught it yesterday too... I must say I seriously enjoyed it. don;t listen to critical reviewers, this movie was never meant to please them, it was meant to be ENJOYED, so go endulge yourself in the colorful goodness of Speed Racer. And my God, like 90% of the stuff in the anime is in it!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Loads of surprise laughs, over-the-top dialog (it's done on purpose like the cartoon!) and wonderful action, and yeah, AWESOMELY fast racing. Rain has a surprisingly big role, but I believe Racer X was recreated really well... I think I'm going to watch again to fully absorb it~ Oh, and by the way, Trixie is a guy's dream girlfriend~  |
