My Q5 Evo is having some problem where if you use plug in a monitor via hdmi and when the laptop goes to turn off both the monitor and laptop display, it will automatically BSOD. I'm not sure if its a BIOS bug due to the shutting down of the Nvidia GPU to save power. My warranty is up during MCO period so I can't send it for checking. Any advice?

Anyone using Raven SE laptop? I bought mine around October last year for Java coding, occasionally play some online game. Recently found out my keyboard button "A", "W" and "S" chip off. Unfortunately customer service told me this is wear and tear item. But my question is, if this is a gaming laptop, the parts should be more durable that other office laptop, aren't they?

Mine the whole paint chip off so only can see the transparent case. It was like this after like 1 year usage and they ask me to pay RM25 per key cap even the laptop is under warranty.

Well I did give them a feedback on this in the Year 2018 and they said they have revised the material used. Not sure if they really mean by that for their latest line. But I was also quite pissed of when they charge RM25 per key.

You cannot compare the RGB keyboard with your keyboard because the way the keyboard is made is completely different. This keyboard uses black material for plastic injection to make the keycap because it's a non-rgb keyboard, there is no way this keycap will have paint drop at the edge (even it has you won't see it because the material is black), but at the same time this kind of keyboard doesn't have backlit / RGB feature. Our earlier models like RS-15, R-11 and RX-17 also use this kind of keyboard, and there is no paint drop case after 9 years....

The RGB keyboard uses transparent material to do plastic injection, after that they spray the keyboard with black paint to craft the letters, this is the way how most RGB keyboards are made nowadays. This method is called 天面印刷 in Taiwan/China.
The keycap has to be taken out from one whole keyboard (which costs RM400+) because the manufacturer doesn't sell single keycap (the paint drop of RGB keyboard is also not covered under ODM warranty.). And we are only charging RM25 for one keycap replacement...

If you have multiple keycap that has paint drop, we will charge RM25 + RM5 per keycap (RM30 for two keycaps for e.g.), because all the keycaps are taken out from one (1) single keyboard.

i hope the above clarify.

Thanks for the clarification because this is what I got when I whatsapp support 2 years ago.

I got my Prodigy last week and I love it very much. I found out that I can't change my screen refresh rate from 144hz to 60hz in order to prolong the laptop usage. Is there any bios update to allow 60hz as well? My Q5 Evo also only is locked to 60hz and you can't select a list of refresh rate. I suspect there is some lock at the bios side that is preventing the change.

I tried and it does not allow me to select 60. Should be bios locked settings.

I got some problem with my Prodigy. When I connect to my TV and Monitor to play game on it, I do get 60fps but the games feel choppy and does not feel like its running on 60fps. I tried the latest nvidia driver and its still the same. I'm not sure what is happening because laptop display is smooth just that connect to external via hdmi and mdp is choppy.

u need to select only display on monitor. dont use mirror.

I tried that and its still the same. The only way to make it run smooth is to disable the intel graphic even you are only showing 1 screen. Pretty weird problem but if you do extended screen, it won't happen not sure why.
