Yes, it only after some chasing that my order got shipped out. Ultimately, it was the expectation that I would get my order within 7-14 days that affected my opinion of Illegear. They could have managed it better by not promising "fast" delivery, especially during a difficult time and with the Raya holidays approaching.
Of course, if they had given a more realistic ETA, I might have gone with another brand instead.
Yes, completely agree, its been over a month for my order now. I bought the laptop because I was trapped at home and needed something more powerful than my ultrabook as it is not spec out to run AUTOCAD/DWG files for my work.
I even asked the sales rep specifically for the onyx pro what is the lead time and was told 7-14 working days. Was even quoted ETA of 12th May on illegear checkout page. So i pulled the trigger on 29th April.
The CS members have been prompt in my request for updates but sometimes it feels like they are just stalling for time. Its just disappointing because it has affected my work productivity. Not trying to blame them but its the reality of my situation. I hope that they will take this feedback constructively.
The laptop has been picked up by the courier service last Saturday, but I am still waiting. According to GDEX tracking it has been "in transit" for the last two days. GDEX must be overloaded because "express shipping" isnt express at this point.
I really hope when it does arrive its in good order.
