Hi. Does Illegear have the updated BIOS for Illegear RS-15?

I checked that miine is on v1.0.3, and I heard that the latest BIOS for this model is actually v1.0.5. The latest BIOS eliminates a host of problems for those who are on older BIOS who upgraded to windows 10.

I read that basically those who are on this model, who upgraded to windows 10 should use this BIOS. This BIOS update would make sure that most problems (which I once reported here / via email) would have been negated / eliminated.

Nope. It just sort of powered down all of a sudden. Also, somehow the problem fixed itself after some BIOS re-setting. As in:
1) changed back the time <--- this one got reset way back to 2013, I think the day the motherboard was made.
2) disabled the boot up over network
3) rearranged the boot order <--- boot order was messed up, it was asking for the boot up over network then it pointed to another drive.
4) enabling UEFI <---- for some reason this step fixed the problem.



BTW, just curious, do you offer upgrade to GTX1060 ? I know 1070 is doable, but too much of a hassle, with modified VBIOS, etc.

my current GPU is 980M. factory spec (from Illegear).

So I guess that means its also not okay to do an unofficial upgrade, or if I wanted to attempt that, it has to be via other channels?

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get the CMOS battery for Illegear RS-15 (Clevo P150SM-A)?

I suspect mine is dead because every time I physically unplug the power cable (not the battery, but the battery is also dead), the BIOS will disable UEFI and the clock will turn back to 2013/2014, the year I bought this laptop.

Any advice?
