I thought Raven-SE is only 1.9kg (as indicated in their website).

I was really considering the Raven-SE because of its minimalist look and its weight. I might have to look for another notebook if Raven-SE really weighs 3kg.

It will fit. The 2.5 inch drive with 9.5mm height will not fit and there are some 2.5inch drives that are 12.5mm (will not fit in most notebooks), 15mm (enterprise class), and 19mm (2.5inch IDE) in height.
