This is my first time using lowyat forum though. Planning to purchase Selenite G soon. Just checked on Illegear website and found a new model - Ares V.
Would like to seek for advise for these two model since they have almost the same price for the following spec.

For Ares V , the price doesn't include backpack and velvet sleeve ?
Is the TDP remain as default ( 105W ) or will be lowered to 60W ?
If the TDP has been lowered to 60W , what's the base clock speed and turbo clock speed ?
What's the temperature of the processor when full load ?
Since Ares V is using desktop processor , it should consume more power than a normal notebook processor , how long will the 63Wh battery last ?
Which model worth more regards the pricing ?

It would be better if can state the differences between these two model as well.

Ok so after waiting for around 1 month , I finally got my Selenite G.

FYI , I'm satisfied with GDex Express Prime Service. They pickup the parcel on Monday and delivered to me on Wednesday
Basically you need to be patient if you order laptops from ILLEGEAR , since they have tons of order to deal with. After that , the delivery process will run smoothly

TechSupport is a little bit slow to reply but once they are on your case , they settle it pretty fast. Good experience dealing with ILLEGEAR TechSupport
Just a little bit sad since TechSupport can't help with tweaking my laptop

Just a little bit curious , is it normal for the processor maintain at approximate 60°C just with Google Chrome running ?
When I run After Effect , the temperature rise to approximate 87°C ( Not even start import the files / render )
GPU maintain at 50°C without anything on
Both temperature checked with ILLEGEAR Command Center

I don't think that ILLEGEAR Command Center can check Fan RPM

After updating to Windows 10 ver2004 , it becomes lower temperature ( approximate 56°C with only Chrome running )
Not sure why though

Yea you can , all you need to do is just plug in your AC Adapter and you are good to go.

Anyone suffering from FPS spike while playing games with RTX2070 Super ? I'm pretty sure that I update all the drivers.
While playing LoL , my FPS could drop from 240 to 20 , Medium High Graphic setting though.

P/S: I plugged in all the time and I used 'Performance' mode with Fan Boost.

Any Selenite G users experienced THX Audio malfunctioning (Volume Leveling and Equalizer doesn't work anymore) right after Windows Update? (KB4578968, KB4579311, KB4580325) These were the Windows Update I received yesterday and it automatically download and install before I shut down my laptop, not sure whether one of them is interrupting the THX Audio driver from working correctly. Tried to reinstall both RealTek and THX drivers but didn't fix the issue, I had to roll back my laptop system using System Restore each time
