I have intel driver assistant installed and its popping up with a intel graphics driver update lately. Is it safe to update to that? (Raven SE-R 9th gen)

Not safe. The wrong driver install will cause GPU performance to tank.

Better stick to the drivers already provided by Illegear. OEM drivers are guaranteed to work for their specific models.

Just update your Nvidia driver when the latest games come out on a regular basis (if you are a gamer).

does it hit high 90s consistently? Usually max temps are spikes in temperature when the processor gets loaded. Eg Hwinfo64 will report like 70 something on my 8700K but my temps are always low 40s consistently. Same thing with my Selenite.

So I'm a Data Science student looking to buy a laptop and the Illegear Ionic 15 Ryzen caught my eye because of the battery life and the lightness of the laptop. My only concern is regarding the GPU.

Are the integrated GPU of Ryzen good enough for a Data Science student that will deal with machine learning or not?

Other series laptop is a little too bulky to my like (especially the power adapter) and hence I would prefer Ionic over others.

Hi Santau, are you using Turbo mode with CPU Power Boost? Why your CPU temperature rose from 80C to 99C?

oof. sounds like either a really bad paste job or extremely bad contact between the heatsink cold plate and the dies
