I just contacted the technical support contact provided via their facebook chat, it seems that the technicians don't understand that fan speed should be directly proportional to the temp, very frustrating, I don't want to put my ears through constant torture of Max fan sound even for normal use

Not every game require 100% fan to run, and the laptop goes to 90++ degree just with steam downloading a game, even a RM1k acer laptop knows how to increase fan speed to accommodate increase in temperature, I won't rant here if I'm not facing the problem, FIX IT!!

Placed order 3 months ago on 25th feb. Still no update for eta of my ionic laptop. Please expect similar waiting period if you decide to opt for illegear laptop. Very very long waiting time. Guess no new toy to celebrate raya this year.

I'm seriously considering their Onyx Pro, seeing that they're offering the 8 core 10th Gen + RTX2070 Super, 16GB, 240Hz, 512GB SSD, Intel AX.

but with that config it pushes the price up to RM9XXX... which is almost equivalent to a lot of similar models in the market... and with RM9XXX it doesn't include the Windows OS.. (RM10,XXX with the OS).... and it can't charge through USB Type-C at 65W : ///////

If only they could offer more goodies, eg Windows included, RAM + SSD upgrade :/

Suspect that orders really increased during the pandemic and shortage of manpower/ MCO constraints has put a strain on their infrastructure. I really hope it comes soon because I need it for work.

I tried but still lag. Fortunately Rimworld is a game you don't really DIE but looking at the game lag/spike really annoys me.

If you already know that gaming required the laptop to be plugged in all the time, why none of your sales team say it? There wouldn't be any dissatisfaction like now, if you guys say it upfront.

Selenite 9750H, 2060 model. 3 Cell 47 Wh battery which I wanted to upgrade to 63Wh but the ones which they had in stock "didn't meet Illegear's standards". Current one has swollen in 10-11 months which should not be acceptable anywhere. It shouldn't give problems within the warranty duration.

Hi, recently purchased a Raven SE-V from illegear. Facing the same problem as yongchin89. Even while plugged in my laptop battery is reducing while playing Dota 2. Same 180W charger given. Any solutions?

The rtx 2070 Super variant so that there is an actual perf difference between rtx 2070 and rtx 2070 Super. The mech 15 g3 (or Onyx G) should have the same tech in it too.

i think got something to do with the command center, my fan boost sometimes will auto on also when boot up, and keyboard is like yours too, i just turn it off, and on it when i need it

Hmm I honestly feel Illegear should really do something about their delivery process. Too many complaints of super late delivery.
At least update the customer about the delay? And inform on the reliable delayed delivery date? Otherwise customers are just waiting there until don’t know when

i dont think battery is located at the top area as you mentioned there, but you mean the casing shape is not flat right between keyboard and monitor, mine also
it kinda stress the battery keep on charging all the time until game stopped!

Raven SE-R 2060 here, with the same problem. The battery charge will reduce when playing games even while plugged in. Sometimes the battery will stop charging at 9x %. I unplug the power cord and plug it back in, then it will resume charging to 100%.
I think my battery is slightly swollen (the area above the F9, F10, F11, F12 keys), not sure whether it's my eyesight problem. Laptop is only 6 months old, I don't have the time to bring in the laptop to Illegear office yet.

battery is at bottom part, there area there i notice it is bump out abit also on my raven se, i think it is design or manufacturing flaw, i just tutup one eye
and yeap, it is hot as i really can fry egg there

that bump ah, u got try when you hold your laptop and open your screen? haha, when i hold and open it, it will hit the monitor bottom hinge abit but didnt happen when i put on table

same problem
the gap is wider on left & right side, very small in the middle. If the laptop is not on flat surface then the part below Illegear logo will scrap the hinge cover (?). I put my laptop on a stand, so I can notice this behaviour when closing/opening screen.

I don't see this behaviour with old illegear S4.
