currently my home area, unifi port is full. therefore im using digi infinite150.

the problem is, whenever i am at home, i need to take out my sim and put in the modem (currently im using huawei e5577)..

huawei, i can lock to 4g band. this has to be done due to the poor signal of Digi that has the tendency of juggle from 3g to 4g consistently...

I lost my ability to make outgoing call esp when im during working/standby at home. i told my superior that pls call me using whatsapp call after office hours but whatsapp call is not stable...

therefore, i need suggestion, which phone should i get that can lock 4g band..

i dont mind if the phone has to be jailbroken/rooted...

but pls dont suggest flagship ones lah... no iphone xs, s10+, huawei p30+ please...

the phone battery shall be abused kow2... need an affordable phone...

cheapest solution, just forward all incoming calls to other number. you can buy prepaid card with RM5.

i dont like the idea of carrying 2 phone and maintain 2 number

you said the problem were at home...

most phone can lock 4G only mode. Some is very easy some is not so easy. sometime work sometime dont.
Personally i like phone with MTK soc with "Super MTK engineering app" (get without ads one). Very easy to lock and switching from SIM 1 <=> SIM2 easly.

Me prefered using separate number for call sms bank etc and another number for data. No need MNP here and there just for data war every few month.

mind to share which model of phone that can do that?
