Hi,

I am planning to install sound system with budget RM1000 and below
my main concern is quality of sound listening in car for comfort ride, try to minimize the exterior sound during driving

I dont need touch screen or change the media player, i just stick to ori media player
maybe add extra speaker or any suggestion ?

also recommend a shop as well

my ride
Perodua Myvi 1.5H latest version 2019

Thanks for advice

Hi there, me too is on the current Myvi variant & you may consider by adding a pair of good quality tweeters (only) to the front (plus some secret recipes to enrich & enhance the effect out of it!) to match with your stock speakers! Balance money will go to the soundproofing since you mentioned that you would liked to minimize the exterior sound intrusion.

FYI, me is running the suggested above setup minus the soundproofing & this is just my humble opinion for you smile.gif

Please survey properly before changing your speaker.

Don't make mistake like I do.

I changed my stock speaker to Alpine S-S65C, not realizing this speaker needs a proper amplifier and a decent head unit to sound good.

if it is the latest myvi, your headunit is only 10W RMS compare to any heaudnit that came standard 15 / 22w RMS

changing component in the latest myvi will be suicide if you do not compliment with other upgrade.
