Just got back from pavilion, Harvey norman is actually taking preorders. Day 1 release, shipping is free. No waiting list yet as no one knows lol. They are receiving around 60 units.

Just made full payment at harvey norman sunway. It's 50 units allocated for the whole of harvey malaysia. Those po at IPC, MID VALLEY AND SUNWAY will probably get more units allocated. Good luck guys...really beat queing at sony centre

Indeed. They should delete their pre-order post at their Facebook asap. If not, some people will get mad and at the end it may attract Sony's attention. Furthermore, why they post that advertisement while they already planned to run it earlier that the spoken date?

Well, sony may don't care. But people who saw that advertisement at their Facebook and go to their stores tomorrow will get frustrated for sure. Imagine if someone go early morning and be the first one to wait for the hn store to open. Then the staff tells him it's out of stock. Huiyoo. I will be very mad if I am that person.

Funny thing is the PS5 item ID is already in their system and ready to accept payment as of today

So it's not like they had to manually key in the item into the system. To me it feels like they were already prepared to accept preorders today 

I still can't forget the sales guys face when i said i wanted to preorder PS5 his face immediately light up as if he's been waiting for someone to come and preorder from them the whole day 

Don't worry. Of course they can't back down from this. But at the same time, we know some consequences are about to happen after this. Hopefully at the end it won't affect those who already ordered from them.

I don't think the mall management will allow you to queue before the store open. Afterall, it's not a roadshow which got organizer to control the crowd. May be some people manage to get in and gather in front of the store. But then what if not everyone follow sop and queue nicely? Can you guarantee that no one will make chaos in front the store since no organizer in there? (before business operation hour).
Anyway, I hope Sony store staff would have planning properly for this pre-order event.

If u are the type that must play latest game, then disc version is the way to go. I'm cheapskate and will wait for ultimate edition at dirt cheap price, so I book the digital version.
