As for game pricing, just buy them day one, finish them quick and sell them cheaper by RM20-30. I do it all the time lol. By the time you want to replay the game again, you can probably buy them again at 10usd on the PS Store lol

I’m pretty sure the cost difference to manufacture the ps5 standard vs the digital version is way lesser than 100 USD.

Sony is already losing money for every standard console sold.
With the digital edition, they’ll lose even more money.

So technically, they’re subsidizing the digital version more than the standard version.

A slim form, slotted UHD OEM drive from Panasonic costs about $20 now. Sony probably has requirements for the drive to have a specific mold to fit into its console form factor.

Sony of course wants you to buy the disc version because that's where they would break even if the user adds on top a PS+ sub and a launch title.

To be frank, Demon's Soul remake and DMC5SE would keep me busy for a whole year if there are no other games. Not that I'm getting the PS5 though.
