PC specs

Motherboard - ASUS Prime A320M-K
Old ram - 1x GSkill AEGIS 8GB DDR4 2400mhz
New ram - HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 2666mhz
GPU ASUS GTX 1050ti expedition
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600

My new ram that I install is 2x HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 2666mhz for total of 32Gb ram that replaces the gskill 8gb ram

I install the new HyperX Fury ram and pc turn on but no booting, got power, CPU fan running, case fan running, monitor no signal, keyboard mouse no signal

I took out the new hyperx fury and put back the gskill ram and pc can boot normally again.

Any ideas what I should do? Can't even access bios with new ram

*Update = after updating bios the ram works fine

Use old ram to check if there's bios update. The first Ryzen is very choosy about ram.

just noticed,

your ram is a 8gb and you plugged in a new 16gb stick?

So total is 24gb?

That could be the issue, generally need same capacity to work. meaning 8gb +8gb, or 16gb + 16gb so on and so forth.

I dont think your 2x16GB DDR4 2666ghz ram is supported for your motherboard, it is not listed under your mobo's QVL list

Glad your bios update have resolved your issue.

Can you please amend your topic tag to

[Solved] PC can't start after installing new RAM

And edit your first post to state how you solved in?

This will help others in the future that may have encountered a similar issue.

listed means guaranteed to work but does not mean that if not listed means cannot work
