The main issue with coins is that it bait and force you to make another purchases to utilise them. Also only preferred and mall sellers can utilise coins.

Another big issue is in accounting sense, you need to decide whether to park the coins discount with the orders you earned them or the order you utilising them. Personally I’m going with the former and treat coins as alternative wallet instead of savings. For example i made RM5 order and earned 500coins, I’ll consider it as RM0 spent for the order; when spending the coins, I never consider it as saving for 2nd time.

LZD’s upfront straight discount is more consumer and beginner friendly.
