I haven’t had the experience with Lazada yet but I bought a counterfeit Samsung Evo Plus MicroSD card on Shopee last week which I received on Thurs. Samsung checked and verified that it’s a counterfeit. Complained to Shopee via phone & email on Thurs and Fri. On Sat the product was removed from Shopee, can’t tell by the Butterworth seller or by Shopee. Also made a KPDNHEP report and probably a police report as a formality. Today will be clicking the Refund button but not sure how I’m going to send it back to the seller.

Make sure you report the fake items.

Being paranoid here, I admit. But what if he takes the return package straight to the police as soon as he receives it. I die lah. He didn't include an invoice when he sent it to me. And now refusing to provide one. With an invoice, I guess I can argue that I'm returning it to him. If I declare the item as "Counterfeit item", Poslaju won't send it. If I declare it as anything else, I'll be sending a prohibited item under false pretences. Now trying to see if I can get Shopee to arrange for a pick-up.

Ture, true, just going by the book here just to be safe. Trying to find a, by the book, reason so I don't have to return the item. Then dispute the charges with the bank. No way I'm going to send a prohibited item just for the sake of a RM20.80 refund. Nowadays can't be too careful, things come back to bite you in weird ways.

Also the way Shopee works, even though the seller has approved my return, after he receives the returned product, he can still dispute the refund by saying that the item is original, damaged or whatever story he can cook up. By that time, the evidence will be back in his hands.

When it comes to customer service, same lah. Shopee first level CS also the same thing, can't do much to help you, template answers, etc...

As per Digi's SMS for the non-working RM10 no-min-spend vouchers. Got my RM10 cash rebates this morning. First reported to LZD on the morning of the 16th. (before the glitch)

The RM5 goes into your wallet. There's no voucher per se. But in the wallet history, it shows as a rebate voucher for RM5.
