Anyone encounter the situation before where you buy a phone from lazada say on 30th October 2019 and when you receive the phone it is sealed with a layer of plastic, but then the warranty was already registered on 15th October 2019, even before you buy the phone? Could it be that the phone was a unit returned by a previous customer, "sealed" again by the seller to be resold?

It has actually happened a few times including when I bought a Note 8 few years ago that was fulfilled by Lazada, only found out when I wanted to claim the warranty that was already registered before I even bought the phone.

Eyeing to buy this Huawei P30 but I noticed that one of the reviews pointed out the same issue.
