Last time (6 months ago) I tried with insufficient money in wallet, thinking the Lazada system is smart enough to do half wallet half credit card. Guess what, it ends up my order was stuck, cannot order new items, cannot cancel the problematic order, and my voucher is stuck in that order too.
End up I been doing 5 times live chats, Lazada called me 3 times, just to fix the problem. In the end they just cancelled the order from their side, refund me the voucher. The whole process took a whole week to resolve. I believe nobody would want that trouble.
It is not hard to check your wallet balance before placing order, just make sure your wallet is sufficient for your item
