nowadays android i dont play flagship level already.

frankly, no longer interested because not much innovation and the quality gap with china's phones really lessen..

not like last time only samsung got oled, good cameras, etc etc..

in fact at least china's phone still give you accessories with their ultra fast chargers. Fking samsung go and copy apple stupid shits.

the only edge i see samsung have over other makers is in terms of software support, but even for me software is not so important anymore as long as the out of box experience is usable/stable. not like when younger that time always seeking for latest android software.

so nowadays play 1k~2k range androids and above that i only look at ipong.

because the dumbest thing ever is to buy a 5k samsung phone, take pics/vids on insta stories or snapchat and still turn out grainy like some cheapo phone. Really fuck that mang.

used to think this way, buy samsung flagship expensive but can use 5 years, seems ok ma.. worth it..

until i realized, with pricing of samsung these days, with 5k, i can change like android 2~3 times.

and with every 2 generations of phones the performance leap is quite significant over the older phones.

so now i rather change phones every 2~3 years and be able to use the latest stuffs. compared to buy 1 samsung and use it for 5 years..

and typical android when use for long term if dont reset will be laggy if you are a heavy user with lots of files.. so you wont even be really satisfied sticking with the phone for so long.

but even this, with how good the processors are these days, the gap also shorten. Because to me, the F1 with snapdragon 845 is still a snappy phone. So even your 1.5k~2k android that is using flagship level snapdragon can also last you a very long time.

So what then is left for Samsung's advantages over others, besides their branding and ip68?
And if branding is important, well ipong > all.
