Answer here for my anyone stumbling on this post in the future. Don't bother deactivating, your phone number will still be linked so you might as well just proceed to use the new account.

Deactivation took a full 24 hours and you will receive e-mail by the end of it.

After having my 8.8 items stuck at the Puchong hub since August 9, I proceeded to apply for cancellation yesterday for two separate purchases, one by GDEX and another by Best. Suddenly this morning I find that both items are going to be delivered this morning, and when I checked the tracking history, it seems like the whole process for both items were accelerated overnight. It seems like that they expedited my shipping only AFTER I put in the cancellation instruction. Anyone experienced something like that? I guess Lazada is sending us a signal that we should proceed to cancel our late orders?

Hmm, then it can be like this.

New customer > Old customer with lot lot of order(like me) > Old customer that rarely buy but with lot of voucher discount
Then which order gonna cancel will be priority?

Just kidding, I guess it is because system bug, too much package for them to process, and they has 2 method.
1.Find your package which waste like 30 mins
2.Just sent ASAP all the package

But because incoming package>outgoing package for your area/states, so your package are staled, until they are instructed to process those staled package, and stale new package. tongue.gif

I will be guessing that, because of covid, those closed down hub are reopen with instructed of getting 2 dose of vaccine, so after they are getting 2 dose of vaccine, nothing can stop them now? hmm.gif

Also I faced bug, when the order is RM 0, you can't remove platform voucher and telling you original price is negative price than original price RM 6, what the... doh.gif

When is the last date of get by?
My parcel from ninja van got delayed.
Receive sms on 18th August mention parcel will be delayed due to COVID-19. Then next day receive the parcel.

Try cancelling it? My two items were suddenly expedited from Puchong to my home in KL today, skipping the usual delivery hubs in between that would take a day or two. This happened less than 24 hours after I put in a cancel request. I don't know what's wrong with Lazada now, but I won't be participating in the upcoming 9.9 sales.

I didnt try that

WHat happens if i cancel? get refund just like that or have to go through hell to be refunded?

Funny actually - after placing this phone order i waited around 2 weeks ---- and i went and bought 5 more items from different sellers (local n china)
1 or 2 of the items was also sent to LEX puchong.

And i got all 5....that's how i get the feeling the phone is stolen.
