 Maxis fibre and USB dongle broadband, Maxis layout of router/modem Is it Right

Maxis came to replace our fibre wire as it broke, meanwhile they sent a USB dongle device that plugged into their tp link Archer c5v. And I also have a Asus ac1750 router I want to use as well.

I'm not sure of the set up and don't thing theirs is right either. Cause seems instead of getting fibre connection I'm actually getting broadband due to the dongle.

Cabut the dongle and see if you got any connection.. show the pic of the lights on the btu and modem.. easier to troubleshoot

BTW you can login to your router at 192.168.1.254
Username: administrator
Password:(serial number of router)

Check if the wan is up

It's 4.16mbps and 38ms for the ping.

the dongle is to use cellular data whenever the land line has issue. that's whatthey told me.

So did they fix your broken cable or not?

Where was it broken? Should be straight forward replacement.
