I'm not sure of the set up and don't thing theirs is right either. Cause seems instead of getting fibre connection I'm actually getting broadband due to the dongle.

Maxis came to replace our fibre wire as it broke, meanwhile they sent a USB dongle device that plugged into their tp link Archer c5v. And I also have a Asus ac1750 router I want to use as well.
I'm not sure of the set up and don't thing theirs is right either. Cause seems instead of getting fibre connection I'm actually getting broadband due to the dongle. . I'll attach a pic and would appreciate any advice. Thanks ! ![]() |

Cabut the dongle and see if you got any connection.. show the pic of the lights on the btu and modem.. easier to troubleshoot

BTW you can login to your router at 192.168.1.254
Username: administrator Password:(serial number of router) Check if the wan is up |

So did they fix your broken cable or not?
