With Dr. M busy schedule, one would think he dont has time for these type of event or perhaps some other negotiation is already underway in the background. Perhaps when Mamak snaps his fingers, Disneyland Malaysia will materialize. hahaha

Disney has acquired/bought Fox recently.
Disney has ordered Fox to get out of the licensing deal entirely, since Disney did not want to be associated with a resort development that included a casino. Genting can sue as much as they want but there is 0% probability for Disney to work with Genting going forward.

Disney is looking to diversify its theme park business e.g. don't want to be too dependent on its Shanghai theme park for its revenue in case there is a prolonged trade war with China. Most American multinationals are now diversifying their supply chains and markets out of China. At the same time, Disney is trying to woo the emerging Southeast Asian, middle eastern and south Asian customers.
